The world of tennis can be unpredictable. Top bets may not always make it to tournaments (due to injuries or even a doping scandal), but one thing that’s constant in this sport is the lineup of luxurious watches seen on their wrists.
They’re usually snapped on after a match for photo-ops, but some players seem to think of their timepieces as lucky charms by wearing them during a match – as in the case of Serena Williams.

Early this year, Serena Williams set an Open era record for most grand slam titles, also making her the winningest player in the Open era. Serena is also known for wearing a fancy watch on court. Maria Sharapova, 5-time Grand Slam champion, was a Tag Heuer ambassador from 2004 until her suspension from playing tennis in 2016. She was known to have worn a Formula 1 or Carrera Calibre watch. Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki signed with Rolex in 2010, the year she become the new world #1 on the WTA tour. Like Ivanovic, she has appeared in Lady Datejust ads, but has also been spotted wearing a Daytona.
