Best Watches at the 2024 Emmys

Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Yellow Gold

The 2024 Emmys not only brought together the best in the entertainment industry but also showcased the finest in haute horology. From stunning diamond-adorned timepieces to sleek, minimalist designs, the red carpet was adorned with an array of exquisite watches that added an extra touch of sophistication to the star-studded event. Here are our favorite watches spotted on the wrists of the celebrities at the 2024 Emmys.

Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds Q7132521

Eugene Levy

Host of the night Eugene Levy looked sharp at this year’s Emmys, wearing a classic double-breasted suit and a Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Tribute on his wrist. First introduced in 2011, the Reverso Tribute is an homage to the Reverso watches from the 1930s that were created to withstand the rigors of the polo sport.

The Canadian actor chose the Monoface Small Seconds model in a stunning 18k pink gold finish. Adopting Art Deco design codes, its case is rectangular with 50 components hand-assembled by a specialized team of experts. Eugene wore the silver sunray dial side with dauphine hands, railway minute track, and a small seconds display at 6. Depending on one’s taste, the opposite side can be personalized with a date, motif, or initials. Photos from Jaeger LeCoultre and Dan Levy on Instagram

Vacheron Constantin Heure Discréte

Elizabeth Debicki

Elizabeth Debicki took home her first Emmy Award this year for her excellent portrayal of Princess Diana in Netflix’s The Crown. As she hoisted her trophy, she was seen wearing one of Vacheron Constantin’s precious and artful creations – the  Heures Créatives Heure Discréte from 2015.

This horological treasure takes inspiration from the Art Deco period and on a similar-looking timepiece developed by the Swiss brand in the 1920s. Crafted in white gold, its body is shaped like a lacey fan and unfolds to reveal a white mother-of-pearl display with textured stripes and luminous hands. 306 diamonds accentuate the watch’s distinctive geometry, while the black satin bracelet ties the exquisite look together. Omega DeVille Tresor Yellow Gold Co-Axial Mens Watch 432.53.40.21.02.001

Aaron Moten

Fallout star Aaron Moten brought a splash of color to the typically black-white-and-gold affair, wearing a bright red Kenzo ensemble. He completed his military-inspired attire with an Omega DeVille Tresor, known for its sophisticated appearance and precise mechanism.

Evoking a vintage charm, Aaron’s watch features a thin yellow gold casing that measures 40mm in diameter. On the silvery opaline dial are domed Clous-de-Paris patterns that create a fascinating geometric effect and raised baton hour markers. The black minute track at the outer rim adds subtle contrast, while the brown alligator leather strap enhances the watch’s visual appeal. Photo from Aaron Moten on Instagram

IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar IW503702

Taika Waititi

Amidst the ongoing trend of small timepieces in Hollywood, Taika Waititi makes a compelling case that large watches are still a thing. Complementing his classic black tie look, the filmmaker wore a relatively new IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar, launched at the 2024 Watches and Wonders.

The New Zealand native’s Portugieser oozes bedroom wall poster levels of confidence with its 18k Armor gold body that is more wear-resistant than 5N gold. This unique finish blends beautifully with its Obsidian black dial topped with gold-plated hands and appliques. In addition to its precise timekeeping abilities, the watch also packs a calendar that is programmed without manual adjustment until 2100. Photos from IWC and Just Jared on Instagram

Vacheron Constantin Patrimony 42mm Rose Gold Mens Watch 1110U

Taylor Zakhar Perez

Taylor Zakhar Perez, who was on presenting duties at this year’s Emmys, effortlessly stole the spotlight in both menswear and watch categories. He donned a suave, all-black Gucci attire, which he paired with an understated dress watch inspired by 1950s designs – the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony

The American actor went for the pink gold model, which measures 39mm with a thickness of 7.72mm. Its silver dial showcases a sunburst satin finish and is accentuated by raised hour markers and a circular minute track made of gold pearls. Guaranteed to make a red carpet statement, this watch usually comes with an azure strap but Taylor had his customized into a classic brown design. The ref 1110U, pictured above, offers a similar feel but with a small seconds function. Photo from Emmys on Instagram

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades 220.10.34.20.10.003

Matt Bomer

Matt Bomer turned heads that evening not only for his custom plum-toned Brioni suit but also for his eye-catching wrist candy. The Emmy nominee wore an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades – a vibrant but equally resilient take on the classic Aqua Terra.

Released in 2022 and marketed as a women’s watch, Matt’s timepiece features a 34mm steel body with a bracelet in the same finish. Omega ditched the trademark horizontal teak texture found on larger-cased Aqua Terras in favor of a smoother brass sun pink dial with white gold indices. Blending style and precision, the timepiece is also powered by the METAS-certified Caliber 8800, which promises a 55-hour power reserve. Photos from Omega and Just Jared on Instagram
