Bedat & Co was founded by Swiss watchmakers Simone Bédat and Christian Bedat in 1996. The mother-and-son tandem had vast experience establishing and designing for other Swiss watch brands, and decided to launch their own line of watches. Their creations are inspired by the aesthetic traditions of the Art Deco era, and the brand is largely considered as the pioneer of stainless steel watches set with diamonds.
