There's a certain amount of trepidation that goes into purchasing a pre-owned luxury timepiece online. At least there was for me. Swiss Watch Expo blew that trepidation out of the water. So if you read nothing else of my review, just know that they're awesome and provide outstanding service. If you'd like to know more, read on... I found the watch online that I thought I loved, so I scheduled a FaceTime call to view it. Jenna, my outstanding sales person, texted me to confirm the time, and then she even FaceTimed me a few minutes early before the doors officially opened. After a quick overview of the showroom, the pristine servicing area, and a tiny introduction to one of the owners, Jenna was off to show me my watch. Gasp. She told me all about it whilst showing me the links up close, how the face looked from different angles, how the diamonds flashed under those great lights, and answering all of the questions I had. The call lasted just a few minutes and was done by 10:00 AM. I hemmed and hawed about making the big ticket (for me) purchase, but finally decided to pull the trigger by 3:30 PM. I mention the timing because normal two-day shipping is possible if the payment has cleared and the watch is packed for shipment by 4:00 PM. In my case, I opted for 1-day overnight shipping. I was concerned it wouldn't make the shipping cutoff, but my tracking indicated that the watch was picked up by 6:10 PM - whew! They use a UPS-subsidiary shipper with a proprietary tracking mechanism. One thing about that is that it wasn't necessarily updated in real time. For instance, I went to bed at 11:00 thinking my watch wasn't actually on its way, but when I woke up and checked the tracker I saw that my watch was somewhere in Philadelphia (I'm in Florida). So I was sort of panicky with zero updates, but by noon I had the package in my hands! Even then, the tracker still reflected PA. Moral of the story -- don't stress much if it doesn't seem to be updated, and it's certainly not SWE's fault! The watch came carefully packaged and packed within many layers of protection. There is obviously a good amount of diligence put into the process. When I finally got into the watch box I was touched to see that the time and date were already correctly set for me. It's a small but nice touch, and just goes to show the amount of customer service they provide. Reasons I ultimately chose to purchase from Swiss Watch Expo rather than some other vendor online: The FaceTime tour was invaluable since I couldn't be there in person - The reputation of the company; I have faith they'll be there for me when and if I need them - The in-house warranty; my watch is approximately at least 23 years old and far out of Breitling's original warranty so it's nice to know that SWE will care for me and my watch for the next 18 months - The fact that they fully serviced and ensured the authenticity of my watch prior to sale - The price they charged was incredibly fair based upon the limited other listings I could find of my watch online - And the bottom line was that I just felt comfortable giving them my business more than chancing a purchase like this from an online auction or other online retailer. While I don't anticipate ever trading in this Breitling, since it's my first, I will definitely be back to Swiss Watch Expo for the purchase of my next luxury timepiece, and I'll be sure to ask for Jenna (although I'm sure everyone else is awesome as well)!

Did tons of research and SWE had the best mix of selection, reviews, and pricing. Michael answered all questions straight to the point without any non sense. Went to an authorized dealer few days later, sent it straight to the original watch maker. Came back 100% authentic.

Update Dec 2024: I have just completed my third deal this year and sold my Bell & Ross watch to Swiss Watch Expo. The entire selling experience as always was professional, easy, and quick. Buying anything online can be intimidating , especially a luxury watch. Before contacting SWE, I did some research and found all reviews to be positive . I can now contribute another positive review! What made buying from SWE different -was the ability to FaceTime a meeting - I was able to “see” the watch and I even got a tour of the store. It felt like actually going into a store ,and deal with real people . I felt confident in their authentication process and I do believe them way they say my watch was completely serviced -as my watch is running very accurately . The only point of (minor )frustration, was the shipping process-I was told to expect my watch delivery on a certain day, and made arrangements to be home all day as a signature was required . The watch did not show up until the next day, late afternoon - the problem being I had to re arrange another day to be home all day. Anyway, all in all, I would not hesitate to purchase from SWE again. Thank you Michael for your time and attention !

Spent a lot of time looking online for Rolex and Tudor in my area and after a lot of looking and comparing I settled down on Swiss Watch Expo. I made an appointment online for a Saturday visit and it was confirmed by Jenna who had the three watches I wanted to look at ready when I arrived. She allowed to me to see another watch while I was there. When all was said and done I left with a Tudor and a Rolex. Third rolex I've bought. First two didn't trust the bank wire and paid full amount just in case these were not authentic, credit card gave me some piece of mind.
